About

The Alpha Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is proud to serve the greater Raleigh community with great pride and joy. The Alpha Theta Omega chapter has been a pillar in the Raleigh community since 1928, with an impeccable history of Supreme Service, (to all mankind?) and leadership.

The Alpha Omega Chapter is comprised of talented, educated, professional women with a strong IVY of sisterhood and commitment to service. The chapter has obtained numerous awards nationally, regionally and locally for their outstanding service. Members of the chapter have been recognized in the community and nationally for their leadership, dedication and service.
Through the new International program, “Exemplifying Excellence through Sustainable Service,” Alpha Theta Omega is excited to implement the program by supporting HBCU’s, promoting Women’s Health Wellness, enhancing the Arts and the Renaissance while soliciting resources for Global Impact. Follow us on Facebook and our website for delivery of service.

Proudly, Alpha Theta Omega Chapter has sponsored a prestigious Debutante Scholarship Ball for over 80
years unparalleled, rewarding over one million dollars in scholarships to deserving young girls. As a result of the program, the young ladies have benefited from educational, cultural and career opportunities making an indelible mark to enrich, stimulate and heighten their lives for success.

If you are interested in joining this remarkable chapter of sisterhood and service, and you are an inactive
soror, general member or soror transferring to the Raleigh community, please make contact. Your service and sisterhood are important.
